Hudspeth joins Leo Burnett from Hewlett-Packard (HP) where he was the head of digital and brand strategy for Asia Pacific and Japan.

Digital is a key pillar of growth for Leo Burnett and Arc in APAC and over the course of this year, we have made several strategic appointments to build up our digital capabilities across the region,” said Jarek Ziebinski, president, Leo Burnett and Arc Asia Pacific.

Elaborating on Hudspeth’s role and focus, Ziebinski continued, "Neil and I will work closely together to further digitise our network and create an aggressive digital growth strategy for APAC including acquisitions in selected markets.”

Over the course of 23 years in Asia Pacific, Hudspeth has helmed WPP’s The Brand Union in China as the CEO, and helped counsel a diverse spectrum of clients and industries to achieve brand and business success. Brands he has worked with include Nissan, Coca-Cola, China Mobile, Motorola, ICBC, Masterfoods, Pernod Ricard, Apple, Dyson, Microsoft and HP.

"I believe the role that digital plays in building tangible and memorable brand experiences is unique and rapidly evolving, especially in Asia Pacific, and I'm absolutely delighted to be driving this forward for Leo Burnett and Arc," said Hudspeth.

Earlier this month, Leo Burnett announced the appointment of Suresh Ramaswamy to director of digital business for the Singapore and Malaysia markets. In addition to Ramaswamy, Leo Burnett Singapore also added several new hires to the digital team including Olivier Woods as digital account manager, Radha Chandramohan as database executive, Viknesk Muniandy as software developer and Latika Israni as group account director.
