In new role, he is responsible for spearheading the strategic development and enhancement of the LG Electronics brand across Asia.

Khanna will also play a lead role in improving the electronic giant’s marketing capabilities, operational efficiency and brand promotion functions within Asia.

On his appointment, Woody Nam, president and CEO of LG Electronics Asia, said: “Sandeep’s appointment underscores LG’s commitment to establishing itself as a world-class brand by hiring the best people who will help propel the company into that category.”

He added: “His experience and expertise in doing successful business across various markets in the region is essential as LG aims not only to increase its footprint in this region, but also to continue to gain significant brand integration and recognition across the various business units that we operate.”

Prior to joining LG, Khanna was the head of marketing at Nokia Philippines and brings with him more than 21 years of advertising and marketing experience across Asia.

He has held senior marketing positions at ICI Paints prior and has also worked on advertising strategies and campaigns for brands such as adidas, FedEx and Nestle.
