Lowe China takes two Leungs aboard Unilever team

SHANGHAI - Louisa Leung (ex-Ogilvy) and Oscar Leung (ex-BBDO) joined Lowe China in June as business director and group creative director, respectively. Both will work mainly on the agency’s Unilever account.

The two Leungs (no relation) have more than a decade of advertising agency experience.

A graduate of Zhongshan University in Guangzhou, Oscar Leung ran her own digital company and later decided on copywriting as her ultimate career. Her prior agency was BBDO Beijing, and she now reports to Norman Tan, Lowe China’s vice chairman/chief creative officer, who said he has been trying to convince her to join the agency for three years.

As for Louisa Leung, she was recruited by Ranjit Jathanna, newly minted chief client officer for Unilever. She is "strong in driving communications for channel-neutral creative ideas", according to Jathanna. She moved to China in 2003 when the country gradually became the regional headquarters for multinational clients.
