Mark Chaves appointed as communications & planning director of Aegis Media Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR - Aegis Media has appointed Mark Chaves (pictured) as the communications and planning director of its Malaysia operations.

Chaves, who will report directly to executive chairman Margaret Lim, was formerly strategic director/ communications planning director at Carat in the Philippines.

He has over ten years' experience in advertising, research and strategic planning working at agencies including Basic/ ZenithOptimedia, UniversalMcCann and Carat. He has worked on both local and multinational clients including Procter & Gamble, Coca-Cola, Nestle, pharmaceutical giant United Laboratories based in the Philippines and QSR juggernaut Jollibee Foods Corporation.

“Mark will champion integrated communications planning in the group, especially with the Carat and Vizeum business teams. With Mark on board, we will raise the bar in the services offered to our clients”, said Margaret Lim.
