Mars China appoints ZenithOptimedia Beijing

BEIJING - Mars China has appointed ZenithOptimedia Beijing as its media planning and buying agency-of-record following a review that included incumbent MediaCom, MEC, OMD and MediaVest.

ZenithOptimedia will begin work on the contract late next month, relieving MediaCom of the duties it had held for the past six years.

Accenture Marketing Sciences assisted in the review, which began in the third quarter of last year.
