Prior to the appointment, Kabi was the managing director of Zenith Optimedia in Jakarta. He has spent more than nine years in leadership roles in Indonesia.

He replaces Listiarini Moeljawan who recently left Indonesia for family reasons.

Neil Stewart, CEO of Maxus Asia Pacific, said Moeljawan’s understanding of the market, leadership skills and breadth of leadership experience is exactly what Maxus Indonesia needs. Maxus Indonesia’s major clients include Indofood and L’Oreal, the subject of a statutory agency review earlier this year.

“It is an exciting time to be a part of Maxus. I am extremely enthusiastic to be leading Maxus Indonesia in a phase where the focus of the group is clearly to dominate further in this market,” Kabi  said. “With our existing base of solid clients, great local team, committed network resources and my nine years of Indonesia experience, we are determined to grow Maxus Indonesia.”
