M&C Saatchi Malaysia appoints associate creative director

KUALA LUMPUR - Ahmad Fariz has joined M&C Saatchi as associate creative director in Malaysia.

Ahmad Fariz, previously from a similar post at Y&R Jakarta, has joined M&C Saatchi as associate creative director.

Fariz spent his formative years at BBDO Malaysia, working mostly on Maxis and Hotlink, as well as Mini and KFC.

His two year sojourn at Y&R Jakarta yielded several high profile campaigns for LG Electronics and LG Mobile plus a diverse portfolio that ranges from Mera Cat Food, Activia Yoghurt, Aqua, Sequislife Insurance and Permata Bank.

He was instrumental in winning Indonesia’s first gold Cannes Lion in addition to a gold and two bronze Spikes for Y&R in the same year.
