MEC Indonesia general manager Intan Sukmawati resigns

JAKARTA - Intan Sukmawati (pictured), general manager of MEC Indonesia, has left the media agency.

MEC Indonesia general manager Intan Sukmawati resigns
Jaydeep Chaudhuri, the agency's managing director, said: “It is sad to have her depart at this exciting juncture. But she is taking a well-deserved break to focus on personal priorities on the home front.”

Chaudhuri, who joined to helm MEC in June, said that MEC Indonesia had a second tier of management in place. He added that he would be looking to restructure and make senior-level hires from various backgrounds.

“In our best estimates, we are now among the top four media agencies in Indonesia in size, if not in the top three, with the addition of stellar clients like Telkomsel, Singapore Tourism Board, Singapore Airlines and HBO in the last year,” added Chaudhuri.

In May, Telkomsel, Indonesia's largest mobile operator, selected MEC as its media agency partner.
