MediaMonks chief to address Campaign360 amid Asian expansion

MediaMonks, the content production agency bought by Martin Sorrell's S4 Capital, is forging ahead with its Asian expansion, announcing new offices in Mumbai and Bengaluru this week.

As further evidence of its interest in the region, MediaMonks' Victor Knaap will be visiting Singapore in March and will be addressing the audience at Campaign360 in a keynote presentation.

Knaap has dropped further clues about MediaMonks' expansion plans at past Campaign-affiliated events.

Last November Knaap and Sorrell spoke at Campaign’s exclusive Breakfast Briefing event in London, explaining how moving into digital media planning and buying, particularly performance marketing, was a priority. They also addressed the issue of in-housing and detailed plans for a more integrated, efficient structure.

Earlier in September at Spikes Asia in Singapore, Knaap related the story of how S4C acquired his firm. He spent much of his presentation explaining how MediaMonks functions differently from competitors, extolling its one P&L model and showing examples of data-driven creativity at scale, while reiterating expansion goals for Germany, India and Japan.
