Jamie Posnanski, former senior executive and global managing director of Accenture Song, has been appointed chief executive at MediaSense.

Posnanski succeeds MediaSense co-founder Graham Brown as he graduates to the role of executive chairman after more than 15 years as CEO.

With immediate effect, Posnanski will oversee “continued service, footprint and capability enrichment” at MediaSense, adding solutions that support clients across content, data, technology and automation.

He will build on MediaSense’s acquisitions of creative and media advisory R3, and PwC’s media advisory team, which have increased MediaSense’s staff numbers to more than 230, and expanded its footprint in North America and Asia.

Brown said: “I am delighted to have found my successor and am excited to have attracted such a talent as Jamie to MediaSense. His strategic vision and proven leadership skills, combined with his wealth of experience and integrity make him the ideal person for this role.”

Posnanski was senior executive, global managing director and head of content and managed services at Accenture Song, based in the US, from 2012 to 2023.

In that time, he was responsible for growing the agency’s content, digital media, personalisation, CRM, commerce and marketing operations, helping to build the division into a $12bn digital agency.

He was also a key figure behind Accenture Song’s various acquisitions and integrations over that period.

After leaving Accenture Song in June 2023, Posnanski has been working as an advisor, strategy consultant and board member on a consultancy basis.

Brown added: “Not only has Jamie helped clients address the most complex marketing challenges on a global scale, but he also has first-hand knowledge of what it takes to successfully bring a company at our stage of development through the next phases of growth.

“I am looking forward to supporting Jamie as we grow our global presence and build more expansive and innovative services for our global client base.”
