Mercedes-Benz looks to consumers for innovation

SINGAPORE - Mercedes-Benz is celebrating its 125th anniversary this year with a 'First thoughts' contest to commemorate the invention of the first automobile and spur reinvention for the future.

Mercedes-Benz looks to consumers for innovation

The campaign is a collaborative brainstorm open to all Singaporeans, not just the traditional car enthusiasts. It leverages the full spectrum of digital media channels and platforms to engage the next generation of drivers. The campaign aims to empower everyday people by offering them a chance for their ideas to become reality.

Participants are encouraged to share their thoughts on innovation at Firstthoughts.com.sg. Mercedes-Benz engineers will evaluate and incorporate the best ideas into future models and the contributors of the best ideas get to visit the famed Mercedes-Benz factory in Stuttgart, Germany.

Visitors to the microsite can also learn about the brand’s heritage of innovation and see how Mercedes-Benz has shaped the automotive industry.
