Mobile Marketing Association unveils Smarties APAC winners 2017

The Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) last night announced the winners of the 2017 APAC Smarties awards in Singapore.

A total of 54 awards were handed out across 20 categories. In a repeat of 2016, Mindshare Asia-Pacific was named ‘Agency Network of the Year’, while Nike and Bayer AG both won the ‘Marketer of the Year’ award.

Mindshare China took the ‘Agency of the Year’ gong, winning six awards over five categories including four golds. Furthermore, Bayer AG’s ‘Yasmin’s Sex-Ed Revolution’ by PHD China, Wezeit and Super Curriculum, was recognised as ‘Best in Show’.

“We’re really impressed to see marketers harnessing the interactive capabilities of mobile to deliver real business results for brands across the region,’ said Rohit Dadwal, managing director of MMA Asia-Pacific. “The creative and strategic use of mobile by all winning agencies and brands has resulted in campaigns that resonate with diverse audiences across cultures and geographies.”
