Naked Singapore is headed by two managing partners, Imogen Hewitt and Richard Leong.

Hewitt relocated from Naked Sydney, which she joined when it launched in 2004. She initially headed planning on the prized Coca-Cola account, moving to be head of communications planning, and latterly holding the title of commercial director across the Sydney and Melbourne offices.

Leong has joined Naked from Lowe Singapore. He has held various senior roles throughout the region, including at Aegis Media, Leo Burnett and chief strategic marketing officer at Ben Q.

Phil Hayden, regional managing partner for Asia-Pacific at Naked Communications, described Naked as a unique brand with lots of momentum and success in recent times.

“We are convinced there is significant opportunity for us in Asia. We have an aggressive plan for the region, and adding a presence in an important strategic centre such as Singapore is a next step. We are looking to drive growth in Asia by opening new offices in the short term, and introducing them to our fantastic global and regional client base. It is exciting times at Naked.”

Hewitt said that Singapore-based clients have been talking to Naked in Australia for some time, with those conversations becoming serious over the last twelve months. “Richard and I have been busy over these first couple of weeks picking up on all those conversations on Southeast Asia.”

In Singapore this week for the opening, Jon Wilkins, global founder of Naked added that the company has experienced a demand for Naked from Southeast Asia for some time. “We have taken our time to get a great management team in place and are now looking for further talent to join the agency. “

Naked was founded in London in 2000, with the Singapore launch taking its global network of offices to fifteen. Singapore joins Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland, Tokyo and Mumbai to form its regional presence in Asia-Pacific. Naked Singapore can be found unpacking its boxes at The Red Dot Traffic Building on Maxwell Road. The clients they will be working with will be announced shortly.
