Net-a-Porter appoints MPG and Media Contacts in Asia and EMEA

ASIA-PACIFIC – Net-a-Porter, a leading online luxury goods retailer, has appointed Havas Media’s MPG and Media Contacts as media agencies of record for the Asia-Pacific and Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) regions.

The value of the account has not been disclosed.

In a statement, global chief executive for Havas Digital Anthony Rind said he was pleased that Net-a-Porter, as a digitally advanced company, had recognised Havas’ investment in developing “leading-edge” delivery and service.

Net-a-Porter was founded 12 years ago by Natalie Massenet, a former fashion editor. Fashion and luxury holding company Richemont acquired the company for around $US340 million in 2010. The website serves as an interactive magazine in addition to its sales operations.
