Omnicom Media Group lands The Curve and 7-Eleven media accounts in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR - Omnicom Media Group has been awarded the media accounts for both 7-Eleven and pedestrian shopping mall, The Curve, in Malaysia.

Omnicom Media Group lands The Curve and 7-Eleven media accounts in Malaysia
PHD Malaysia will manage all aspects of The Curve’s media business, while OMD Malaysia will be managing the 7-Eleven media account. Both agencies' media remit includes all aspects of on-and offline buying as well as planning.

The Curve is Malaysia’s first pedestrian shopping mall and a wholly owned subsidiary of Boustead Properties Berhad, a member of the Boustead Group of Companies.

On the account wins, Andreas Vogiatzakis, MD of Omnicom Media Group Malaysia, said: “This win practically puts PHD in the driver’s seat for the total communications and media business management of Mutiara Damansara’s key shopping and entertainment hub, known as the fantastic trio portfolio of Ikea, Ikano and The Curve. It is a clear testament of PHD's strategic direction and orientation.”

He added: "To top it up, 7-Eleven is a great brand to work with and we are proud that OMD was chosen as their communications agency. Some great work has already been activated. The activation was about Malaysia's funniest Slurpee home videos. This includes a successful online campaign where consumers can engage with the brand through online channels.”
