To report to Ben Poole, head of MEC Interaction Asia-Pacific, and Connie Chan, managing director, MEC Singapore and Global Solutions, Pearlson will oversee a growing team of search specialists based both in Singapore and Manila.

Rejoining MEC after spending two and a half years heading up search teams at Omnicom Media Group companies in both London and Singapore, she worked with clients across Asia-Pacific that include Getty Images, Johnson & Johnson, Etihad Airlines and Standard Chartered Bank.

Commenting on the appointment, Poole said, “We are very excited to welcome someone of Samantha’s caliber to the agency. She has a great background in all things 'search', but also has a depth of knowledge in digital that fits perfectly with our commitment to truly integrated communications planning and activation.”

Pearlson, meanwhile, noted that search is an integrated discipline at MEC and she looks forward to developing innovative communications programs for our clients. “MEC is driving change in the digital space and I’m thrilled to be joining such a creative team of experts.”
