New Zealand-based adtech startup Postr has announced the opening of new offices in Singapore and Australia, its first outside its Wellington headquarters.

Founded in 2014, Postr offers consumers sponsored content and mobile services via white-labelled lock-screen apps, launched in partnership with mobile carriers.

The company has expanded its senior leadership by hiring Krishan Patel as chief revenue officer. Patel was previously vice president of global business development and strategy at Amobee, and in his new role will oversee advertising operations, business development and client services, based in Singapore.

"After a successful raise and some high-profile partnerships, we are in an excellent position to expand the business outside of New Zealand, and bring this new source of inventory to the global advertising community,” Patel said.

In addition, Ben Searancke has been appointed director of advertising sales and partnerships, ANZ, and Janette Higginson has joined as global head of programmatic. Both are based in Sydney.

Postr CEO Milan Reinartz, who has relocated to Singapore, said the company is now "fully focused on the growth of the business in Southeast Asia and Australia" and pleased to have attracted "world-class talent" for the expansion.
