The two 12-month retainer contracts came after initial appointments of one year each.

Eric Chan, managing director of PR Communications, announced the news, “Each and every client’s business is unique and it is our duty to represent and send forth this uniqueness to the media and the public,” he said.

To be opened next month at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, Au Chocolat represents a French inspired retail and dining concept with the Au Chocolat Confiserie (confectionery) and Bistro.

Au Chocolat Bistro serves a European menu, while Au Chocolat Confiserie is fully equipped with a chocolate atelier and a patisserie producing daily bespoke chocolates.

The contract with PR Communications is for six months.

Catalunya, meanwhile, is the next icon floating in Marina Bay situated at the Fullerton Pavilion. A contemporary Spanish restaurant serving distinctive cuisine inspired by the traditions of Catalan recipes, the restaurant is set to open in July. The contract with PR Communications is for three months.

“The F&B industry is getting a lot of competition,” Chan said. “A lot of international brands are coming up and it gives consumers more choices and dining concepts.”

PR Communications also assisted SK Jewellery with the launch of its latest SK 999 pure gold collection last month. It is engaged on a three-month consumer education programme to encourage young consumers to purchase pure gold, traditionally regarded by them as old fashion, Chan added.
