The Client Marketer of the Year award pays tribute to a prominent personality, who is an influential figure in the development of the region’s marketing and media landscape, playing an integral part in shaping the future of the advertising industry.

The winner is selected by Media’s editorial team following discussions with senior executives in the industry. It aims to recognise the person that has set a new standard in communications strategy and execution in the Asia-Pacific region.

This year, Media magazine is proud to present this prestigious honour to Henretta in recognition of her dynamic leadership and vision that has made P&G into a global leading business that houses more than 100 brands including Pantene, Olay and Gillette, and reaches 1.2 billion Asian consumers. The division pulled in US$14 billion in revenues last year.

Henretta - who will receive the honour at the Agency of the Year awards ceremony on 9 December in Singapore - is a Board member of the Singapore Economic Development Board and serves on Singapore Economic Strategies Committee commissioned to make recommendations to stimulate growth and investment opportunities for Singapore.

In 2009, the US Government appointed her as one of three American representatives to serve on the business advisory council for Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation. Henretta is one of just five female advisory members across the 60-plus member council, and was recently re-elected for a second term as a board member of the Singapore Economic Development Board.
