What is your current state of mind?
A little jet-lagged, but ready to go after a three-week holiday in Europe.

What is your greatest fear?
Having someone IM me a rude joke when I am on stage or in a pitch.

What is the trait you most deplore in yourself?
I have to check my emails before I go to bed each night.

What is the trait you most deplore in others?
Not treating others as equals.

Who is your hero? Why?
Winston Churchill because of his drive and his ability to see opportunity.

What do you consider the most overrated virtue?
Thrift.

On what occasion do you lie?
My halo never slips...

Name one thing about yourself that few people know.
I'm addicted to pilates.

Which words or phrases do you most overuse?
Okey dokey.

What talent would you most like to have?
To be able to sing - offsite karaoke sessions have traumatised me.

What's your most evocative childhood memory?
Sledging in Derbyshire in the UK - and landing in a freezing stream.

What do you consider your greatest achievement?
Paragliding in New Zealand in an attempt to conquer my fear of heights.

What is your most marked characteristic?
Some of my colleagues call me "action-annie" so that might give a hint.

Which historical figure do you most identify with and why?
Not one figure, but the explorers who brought stories of Asia to the West.

What makes you happy?
Sunshine, my dog and good coffee.

When did you last cry and why?
Yesterday - at a cheesy movie on the plane on the way back from Europe.

What is your greatest regret?
No regrets, just lots of good stories.

If your office was burning down, what object would you save and why?
My phone. My life would crumble without it.

What would you do if you were invisible for the day?
I'd have listened in on the conversations between Julia Gillard and her advisors the day before Kevin Rudd resigned.

What do you see when you look in the mirror?
Me.

What's your best joke?
I can never remember the clean funny ones, so have a laugh at the Flip video Bondi Beach flash mob on YouTube.
