Under the agreement, Samsung will provide Team Singapore Olympic athletes and key team officials with Galaxy smartphones.

The electronics giant will also set up two Olympic themed pop-up stores for two months at Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza, where fans can send well wishes to the athletes and participate in different sport-themed activities.

In April, Samsung launched a viral video and media campaign in search of 100 bloggers to report live from the London 2012 Olympic Games.

The ‘Global bloggers programme’, fronted by celebrity chef Jamie Oliver, has now selected two Singaporeans to represent their country and report the latest news and developments from the Games.
