Singapore Sports Hub selects Edelman as PR agency

SINGAPORE - Singapore Sports Hub Pte Ltd has appointed Edelman Singapore as the public relations agency.

Edelman is tasked to develop an integrated communications campaign encompassing corporate reputation, digital engagement, events management, media relations and issues management.

“The Edelman team demonstrated the best understanding of our brand, the communications objectives and the business landscape in Singapore,” said Jennifer Kelly, senior marketing director for the Singapore Sports Hub. “They presented a cohesive strategy which reflects our vision for the Singapore Sports Hub and our commitment to put the Sports Hub on the global sporting map.”

Kelly said Singapore Sports Hub will be created as a community in which Singaporeans could entertain, watch, support and play.

“We look forward to working with them to develop a compelling narrative to change the sporting culture and mindset in Singapore,” said Amanda Goh, managing director for Edelman Singapore. “We strive to help Singapore Sports Hub instil a sense of national pride in each and every Singaporeans and position the sports infrastructure as a key sporting, leisure and entertainment destination.”

Located on a 35 hectare site in Kallang, the Singapore Sports Hub will be a fully integrated sports, entertainment and lifestyle hub.
