Starcom MediaVest makes spate of hires in Indonesia

INDONESIA - Starcom Mediavest has appointed Wina Hapsari, an ex associate partner at Mindshare, as director to lead the Samsung team.

Hapsari previously handled the Unilever account, focused on strategy planning, digital and integrated marketing.

Suvvaru Venkata Sunilkumar has joined the agency’s LiquidThread division to lead as Digital Director. Prior to this, he was with Havas Media India as business head digital and handled Emirates, TATA, Starbucks, DBS Bank and Taj Group of Hotels’ businesses.

Starcom MediaVest also appointed Herlina Sanyoto as investment Director to manage the investment and buying discipline. She was previously an implementation director at Havas Media for over half a decade.

“With the 3 senior hires in place, we are in a heightened strategic position to move the business forward with holistic solutions to our clients,” said Yasir Riaz, technical advisor, Starcom MediaVest Group Indonesia.

Last year, Starcom Mediavest Group poached Mindshare’s Unilever lead for Southeast Asia and Australia, Riaz, to head its Indonesia office
