Uniplan Hong Kong names new MD

The new appointment marks the end of a months-long search for Darren Chuckry's replacement.

Nancy Chan has been named the managing director of Uniplan Hong Kong, where she will start on 2 January next year. The position fell vacant after Darren Chuckry left the agency in July this year. Executive creative director Judd Christie was overseeing the operation in the interim. 

Chan will be joining from Visit by GES where she served as general manager, Asia - SaaS registration service. Her experience spans across exhibition, events, telecommunications and the manufacturing industry in Hong Kong, China and the UK.

On Chan's appointment, Uniplan CEO Christian Zimmermann, said: "I am very excited to welcome Nancy to Uniplan Hong Kong. With her well-rounded business acumen and success in supporting her clients throughout her career, I look forward to her contribution and efforts in developing and enhancing Uniplan’s business growth, as well as our culturally diverse team."
