Vena acquires digital creative agency Transfer, launches Vena re:Connect

The acquisition was described as a 'private deal' and no sum was disclosed.

Transfer's founder Bart Jawien will join Vena as managing director and will be part of the agency's management team alongside chief executive officer Adam Hobson and chief executive officer James Zipeure.

“This is a big step for VeNA as we introduce a social, creative and technology division to our existing business and make this capability available to agencies and clients,” said Zipeure. “VeNA re:CONNECT will focus principally on integrated creative production and execution; asset management; video content creation and technology, as well as product support. We will also offer social end-to-end management and mobile development.”

Jawien added that the deal will offer immediate opportunities for both businesses on a larger scale. The new division will give Vena the ability to deliver in-house creative, service and technology solutions to clients and agencies, he said.
