The appointment is effective immediately and Ng will continue to be based in Singapore, the network’s SEA hub.

In his new role, Ng will have full creative responsibility for Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam and the Philippines.

He is charged with overseeing creative output, profile and talent across this sub-region, and will continue to serve as the SEA member on Euro RSCG’s Creative Council to help shape the regional creative direction.

"I am excited about the great upside to our creative ambitions in the sub-region. The challenge is to continue to build on the creative and business success of Euro RSCG Singapore, and to set an integrated creative foundation for our offices in Southeast Asia,” said Ng.

In January this year, following the promotion of Matthew Fanshawe to Southeast Asia CEO, Euro RSCG promoted ECD Charlie Blower and Ng to head its Singapore office as managing director and ECD, respectively.

Ng joined the Havas agency as creative director in January of 2008.

Ng started his advertising career at Leo Burnett Singapore as a copywriter.

He was named the inaugural Young Creative of the Year at AdFest and was ranked among the top 10 Young Guns in the world while driving the agency to a top-five ranking in Asia-Pacific for three straight years.

In 2006, he became the first-ever creative from Asia to work at Mother London and rejoined as deputy creative director a year later.
