Webcast tomorrow: How tech is reshaping marketing

We’re in the midst of an information industrialization. Social networks, mobile devices and programmatic buying have made their mark but how these technologies shift the industry and converge global cultures is a still unfolding story. Learn more about the big picture and get in on the conversation during our exclusive webinar presented in conjunction with The Economist.

Your mobile device is the gateway to your digital life. Unlike desktop computers mobiles are easier to tie to one person’s activity because typically these are not shared—your phone is your phone.  But people spend more time on more devices than ever before and all the technology and new consumer habits have created a feedback loop that has brought more changes to the marketing industry in the past five years than the previous 50.

How has digital technology transformed advertising and what are the latest examples that could change the way we do things again in the future? Tom Standage, digital editor at The Economist and author of six history books, helps us deconstruct where we’ve been, while Robbie Hills, head of programmatic media APAC at Google, and Jerry Smith, regional president, Asia Pacific, OgilvyOne Worldwide help us see where we’re heading.

The live conversation will touch on how social, mobile and programmatic technologies change the way consumers buy, brands sell and you do your job. There’s no area of the industry that goes untouched. The digital world has brought big consulting firms into competition with ad agencies, pitted amateur content creators against major media channels and turned little known manufactures into the some of biggest brands in Asia in the space of only two years. Xiaomi outsells Apple and Samsung in China - price is part of that story but so is the firm’s digital savviness.

Information-based services in every category define the future. How can you stay ahead when things move so fast? Take the time to listen in to the webinar and post questions to our panel. This is an opportunity to both learn and contribute.
