The GM position at the agency has been vacant for 18 months.

Yoo has served as digital planning director at Wunderman in Seoul for the past four years, leading the agency’s relationship with Microsoft among other network clients including Diageo, KT and Nokia.

Stephane Faggianelli, president of Wunderman Asia-Pacific, said that Yoo’s “extensive” knowledge of digital and CRM had contributed to the growth of Wunderman’s operation in Seoul. He said that expansion in the market was imminent.

Yoo added that analytics and mobile expertise would be areas of focus over the coming months as a means of reinforcing the current offering.
