Y&R Vietnam CEO Ram Kapoor departs

HO CHI MINH - Ram Kapoor (pictured), the CEO of Y&R Vietnam, is leaving the agency after two and half years.

Ambar Brahmachary, Asia-Pacific CEO of Y&R confirmed the news and said that the agency has identified a managing director and ECD to form the new leadership and will be making an announcement in a week’s time.

“Ram has done a great job in growing the Vietnam office, getting good local talent and many new clients in the last two to three years. He has been wanting to move back to Singapore for some time,” he said.

Kapoor has previously worked with Leo Burnett Singapore as creative director

Last month Y&R appointed Vishal Mehta, the former vice-president of client services at DDB Singapore, as the CEO of Y&R Indonesia.

In January it appointed Sanjay Bhasin from its regional office in Singapore to CEO of its Thai operations.
