IndiGo Airlines | On Time | India

IndiGo Airlines, a private domestic value airline in India, is building its 2010 marketing campaign backed by Wieden + Kennedy (W+K) Delhi around being the flight that is always on time.

Since their first marketing push in April last year, IndiGo has been positioning itself as chic and customer-friendly.

‘On time’ is the latest campaign from the airline and is supported with print, outdoor and digital work. The campaign centres on the efficiency of every member within the company and how the resulting clockwork precision puts a smile on customers’ faces.

The television commercial is due to launch regionally across business, news, movie, general entertainment, sports and travel channels.

Executive creative director at W+K Delhi V Sunil stated that airlines always propose themselves as the top of everything and value-added services are mainly for VIPs only.

The main vision of IndiGo is to put every service on par for everyone. “That’s the point of our campaign – only IndiGo ensures that you get from A to B without wasting your time and money, or being made to feel cheap in the process,” added Sunil.

According to Aditya Ghosh, president of IndiGo: “At IndiGo, low cost and low fares doesn’t mean low quality."
