Leo Burnett Mumbai taps Bollywood pair for Wella Kolestint

MUMBAI - Leo Burnett Mumbai has launched a new TVC for Proctor & Gamble's hair colour brand Wella Kolestint starring Bollywood couple John Abraham and Bipasha Basu.

wide player in 16:9 format. Used on article page for Campaign.

Despite having chemistry with Abraham for years, Basu expresses her longing to still feel appreciated in this new TVC for P&G's Wella Kolestint.

The TVC taps into the real story of a woman not getting noticed by her man. The campaign leverages the fact that women's hair colour needs today have evolved from the conventional grey coverage to looking ‘noticeably’ different.

"We zeroed in on one single fact that women want the power to get noticed and appreciated over the years. A single compliment, years into a relationship, makes them smile for days,” said Gaurav Lalwani, regional account director at Leo Burnett Mumbai.

Speaking from personal experience, Leo Burnett Mumbai ECD Nitesh Tiwari agrees that women have this urge to be noticed when they change their look. “Every time my wife asks me, 'Notice anything new about me?' I always felt like a deer caught in the headlights. This real life incident was an apt trigger for me to create the Wella Kolestint film," he said.
