Aegis Media Taiwan announces three senior executive appointments

TAIPEI - Aegis Media Taiwan has announced three new senior executives on board this week, including Ivy Sung, chief operating officer of Aegis Media Taiwan; Rebecca Chang, VP of Posterscope Taiwan; and Ruby Chiu, VP of iProspect Taiwan and wwwins Isobar Taiwan.

Sung rejoins Aegis Media Taiwan in the newly created COO role and will be in charge of trading and commercial policy. She will report to Ann Yang, MD of Aegis Media Taiwan.

Sung has been with the group for 11 years and was chief financial officer of Aegis Media Greater China before she took an eight-month sabbatical leave in June 2010.

Rebecca Chang takes up the VP role of Posterscope Taiwan, and will report to the agency GM Kiki Loh. Chang will be responsible for planning, tool improvements and new business development.

A 20-year veteran with comprehensive advertising and media agency experience, Chang worked for Optimedia Taiwan as deputy general manager between 2006 and December 2010. Prior to that, she was group account director at United Advertising and Saatchi & Saatchi.

According to the agency, Chang's new role has been vacant since August 2008 due to the global financial crisis. 

Meanwhile Ruby Chiu becomes the VP of iProspect Taiwan and Wwwins Isobar Taiwan. Chiu will report to Ann Yang, MD of Aegis Media Taiwan and Freda Shao, GM of wwwins Isobar Taiwan. She will be charged to accelerate and expand the regional and global business for Wwwins Isobar Taiwan.

Chiu has over 10 years' digital communications experience and has been with Aegis Media through Wwwins Consulting in various Asian-Pacific locations since July 2000. She was a member of Carat global management teams in London over the past two years.

Reported in October, Jennifer Sherand Florence Wu also joined Aegis Media Taiwan in an EVP position.
