Aegis Media Taiwan bolsters senior management with two promotions

TAIPEI - Aegis Media has promoted Carrie Tsai to general manager of iProspect Taiwan and Ruby Chiu, previously vice-president of iProspect Taiwan and wwwins Isobar Taiwan, to vice-president of business development of wwwins Isobar Taiwan. Both report to Freda Shao, managing director of wwwins Isobar Taiwan.

Tsai joined wwwins Isobar in 2006, and was promoted to senior VP in 2011. She has 20 years of professional experience in both traditional and digital marketing with several international advertising agencies, including a stint as digital marketing director at Agenda for more than three years.

The key clients of iProspect Taiwan include L’Oreal, Adidas, AirAsia, Brand’s Club Med, Philips, and ChungHwa Telecom.

Chiu has more than 10 years of digital communications experience and has been with Aegis Media through wwwins isobar in Taiwan and China since July 2000. After seven years in China, she transferred to London in 2009 to join Carat's global client-management team, and was responsible for managing the global adidas account. She has extensive experience working at various offices in the group’s network.

In her new role, Chiu will be in charge of both local and regional/global business. Key clients of clients of wwwins Isobar Taiwan include Amway, Hennessy, 7-Eleven, Brand’s, ChungHwa Telecom, and CIGNA insurance.

Chiu reports to Freda Shao, managing director of wwwins Isobar Taiwan, while Tsaireports to Ann Yang, CEO of Aegis Media Taiwan .

Yang commented on the promotions, “With solid background, profession, and passion toward digital marketing communication, Carrie and Ruby both are the ideal talents for their new positions. This move is a critical step for Aegis Media Taiwan to further flourish in the digital marketing arena.”

Both iProspect and wwwins Isobar are Aegis Media Taiwan’s digital agency brands, with the former focusing on internet search and performance marketing while the latter provides full-service digital marketing services.
