Air Asia returns to Carat

KUALA LUMPUR - Air Asia has switched its Malaysia media account back to Aegis Group's Carat Malaysia without a pitch.

A source confirmed that Air Asia had left incumbent agency Mindshare after moving its media account from Carat to Mindshare in April last year.

Industry sources said that Carat had regained the account after successfully completing a project for Air Asia earlier this year.

Sources also confirmed that Air Asia's sister companies under the Tune brand have been given the option to stay with Mindshare or to move their media accounts to Carat.
