Martin Roll is the author of Asian Brand Strategy, and has over 20 years experience in the international advertising industry. He’s frequently a guest lecturer at Insead and Nanyang Business Schools in Singapore, as well as the China Europe International Business School.

Hoh Kim is a commentator and columnist for leading Korean business publications and is one of Asia’s leading authorities on crisis communications.  Founder and head coach of The Lab, a Korean crisis communication consultancy, Kim is also co-author of Cool Apology, a book on corporate and leadership apologies.

Commenting on their appointments, Burson-Marsteller worldwide CEO Mark Penn said both executives' experiences would add crucial perspectives to the firm’s global and regional engagements.

The agency's global strategy team is comprised of senior advisers to presidents and CEOs. Their aim is to offer clients critical insight and creative advice.

“At the same time that Western multinationals are investing more of their international public relations resources in the East, the rising multinationals of Asia are making increasing use of PR to build a global image for the very first time,” said Asia-Pacific CEO Bob Pickard. Roll and Kim both have an in-depth understanding of the region’s stakeholders as well as insight on how to “get Asia right” from the start, said Pickard.
