Bite hires digital marketing director, continues business shift

HONG KONG - Bite Global has hired Amy Allibone to the newly created position of digital marketing director across the Asia-Pacific region.

Bite hires digital marketing director, continues business shift

Allibone moved to Hong Kong a month ago from Sydney, where she was most recently senior digital marketing director at Westpac. Prior to that she held roles as online acquisition marketing manager at LivingSocial and marketing director, EMEA, for Vanguard Car Rental.

Her appointment is part of an ongoing shift for Bite (formerly known as Bite Communications), from pure public relations toward a fully rounded marketing services offering.

Allibone currently heads a team of five but intends to grow the team shortly.

"The agency’s focus is on broader marketing services, and as part of that, digital very much sits into that integrated marketing piece," Allibone told Campaign Asia-Pacific. Her main role at Bite will be to head paid media, which includes serach, SEO, display, social advertising and EDM.
