In a statement, Raymond Arrastia, group managing director at Leo Burnett Manila, said, “We appreciate Mila’s contributions to Blackpencil during her three-year stewardship of the agency, particularly in helping build sustainable growth for clients’ brands.”

In the meantime, Arrastia will assume management responsibilities for Blackpencil, which is expected to focus on business development while strengthening its creative reputation with its current roster of clients.

While Blackpencil is expected to make announcements about its account management team in the next few months, it has made its very first recruitment in Golda Roldan as client service director of JWT Manila.

JWT Manila CEO Jos Ortega said, “We thank Golda for her contributions to JWT and wish her all the best in her next adventure.”
