Campaign Asia-Pacific appoints managing editor

ASIA-PACIFIC - Haymarket Media Asia has appointed Jason Wincuinas (pictured) as managing editor of Campaign Asia-Pacific, effective immediately.

Wincuinas was most recently a financial editor at CLSA and a consultant for Hong Kong’s MTR. Based in Hong Kong, he will lead a team of eight full-time journalists and editors and will be responsible for the ongoing development of Campaign’s content across print, digital and face-to-face events.

Wincuinas will take a strategic role in the progression of content, working closely with deputy editor David Blecken and online editor Matthew Miller on new ideas and their delivery.

The company has also announced the promotion of Atifa Hargrave-Silk to the role of brand director, Haymarket Brand Media Asia, with overall responsibility for Campaign Asia-Pacific and CEI Asia- Pacific.

In her role as brand director, she will be responsible for leading product strategy and execution, uniting sales, editorial, product development, clients and audiences behind the vision for the respective brands across print, online and face-to-face events. She will have financial responsibility for delivering market leading commercially successful products across the respective markets for Campaign and CEI.

Silk, who took on the role of editorial director of Campaign and CEI in 2012, joined Haymarket in 2000 as assistant editor on Media magazine, becoming editor in 2005. She oversaw the successful launch of Campaign Asia-Pacific in 2010.
