CBS Interactive makes structural changes in Asia

SINGAPORE - CBS Interactive is making changes in its Singapore office, home of technology news website ZDNet, as it looks to make a bigger impact in Australia.

CBS Interactive makes structural changes in Asia

“We are making some changes to our Singapore operations and shifting our resources to where we can make a bigger impact, including beefing up our Australian business,” said Luke Fredberg, VP of international communications for CBS Interactive. 

Fredberg declined to comment specifically on the fate of ZDNet’s editorial and sales teams in Singapore. According to information on ZDNet’s website, the publication has about six employees in Asia including senior editor Eileen Yu.

ZDNet.com is currently available in 13 editions including Asia, China, India, Australia, Korea and Japan. CBS Interactive's other technology publications include CNET and Tech Republic.
