Ching will be based in Guangzhou and report to Justin Billingsley, CEO of Saatchi & Saatchi Greater China. She replaces Pully Chau, former CEO of Saatchi & Saatchi Guangzhou and Hong Kong, who announced her resignation in January this year.

Ching joins the agency from her position as managing director of WE Marketing in Hong Kong.

In her new role she will be tasked with mitigating the ties between the Guangzhou and Hong Kong operations in addition to overseeing major clients like Mead Johnson and P&G. She will also be assisting local clients in looking beyond the Chinese market.

According to Billingsley, Ching will add to their business formula and accelerate the agency's aggresive digital growth of late.

“Daisy represents the perfect combination of the three critical elements of our search which are significant digital capability and experience, proven track record leading P&G growth in China and a values-based leadership style,” added Billingsley.

Prior to Saatchi & Saatchi and WE Marketing, Ching was in Shanghai leading the WPP fashion and beauty boutique agency Soho Square as general manager between 2006 and 2008.

As part of the leadership and digital expansion, Saatchi & Saatchi Shanghai announced Rachel Macbeth as the director of strategy and planning for Greater China last week. The China operation added Carlsberg to their client portfolio in April, based out of Beijing.
