THE PHILIPPINES - DDB Philippines has scooped the East West Bank account and will carry out its creative, PR and media placement requirements.

The East West Bank is a commercial bank in the Philippines and is a subsidiary of the Filinvest Development Corporation. The Filinvest Group is comprised of firms engaged primarily in real estate through its majority-owned subsidiaries Filinvest Alabang and Filinvest Land.

Joyce de Guzman-Zarate, head of the marcomm department at East West Bank confirmed the appointment and congratulated the winning DDB team led by Timmy Jayme, managing director and COO of DDB Philippines.

This comes on the heels of DDB Philippines winning the creative duties for Canon Business Imaging Solutions in a pitch battle with Ace Saatchi & Saatchi.
