Discovery's Tom Keaveny promoted to new role in London

ASIA-PACIFIC - Tom Keaveny (pictured), president and managing director for Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific, has been promoted to the newly-created role of president of international affiliate sales for Discovery Networks International (DNI).

Discovery's Tom Keaveny promoted to new role in London

To be based in London, the appointment will be effective 1 September. The new role includes being the chief executive officer of Discovery’s Joint Sales Organization.

Discovery’s Joint Sales Organization manages affiliate sales efforts for DNI in Western Europe, the Nordics and CEEMEA, as well as the Eurosport business. Keaveny will also head up global affiliate sales strategy.

The company has begun its search for Keaveny's successor.
