FAW Audi names Leo Burnett as first of two China creative agencies

Leo Burnett Beijing and a yet-to-be-named agency will be responsible for FAW-Audi’s integrated marketing and communications in China until 2019. Leo Burnett is the first agency to nail a five-way creative pitch that culminated in a two-year contract.

Together with a yet-to-be-named agency, both are tipped to be responsible for FAW-Audi’s integrated marketing and communications in China. The work will be divided by different car models under FAW-Audi.

BBH and Ogilvy were Audi’s strategic creative partners before the pitch was called in January.

Frank Liu, managing director of Leo Burnett Beijing, said his team will work closely with Audi to "create more innovative dialogues between the brand and Chinese consumers”.
