The six-month contract will see the agency working with brand activation agency Pico Art International, to generate awareness of the light art festival through engaging media in Singapore, the region and beyond.

Jean Chia, managing director of Pico Art International, said, “We are pleased to be working with Fulford again on yet another national mega-project managed by Pico. Fulford PR demonstrated clear knowledge of the arts landscape in Singapore and we believe their inherent professional working relationship with both local and international media will help further bolster i Light Marina Bay’s position as Asia’s first sustainable light art festival.”

Inaugurated in 2010, this second edition of i Light Marina Bay focuses on Asian creatives, featuring innovative and sustainable light art installations by 30 local and international multi-disciplinary artists.

Mary-Anne Kyriakou, Festival Director of i Light Marina Bay, said the event would feature sustainable light art installations more than the first edition. “We require a PR agency that has shown effective media relations in the arts landscape, which Fulford PR has impressed upon us their capabilities. We look forward to working with them to bring the festival to life.”

Linda Fulford, managing director of Fulford PR, meanwhile said, “With our knowledge and skill in engaging media locally and internationally, we aim to help bring the event to a greater success. Through this event, we hope to strengthen our ties with the organisers as well as with our media contacts, both locally and internationally.”

This win further strengthens Fulford PR’s arts portfolio, which handles accounts such as National Heritage Board, Singapore Writers Festival 2011 and Asia Pacific Breweries (APB) Foundation Signature Art Prize.
