FH is tasked with building Hitachi Data Systems' (HDS) media profile in the region — focusing on raising awareness of hte company's offerings in information technology, storage centralisation, and cloud computing.

The account, which spans 10 markets, will be run out of FH Hong Kong .

Commenting on the new account, Rachel Catanach (pictured), senior vice president, senior partner and managing director of Fleishman-Hillard in Hong Kong, said the challenge faced by the agency extended beyond just raising awareness for the services offered by HDS. It also includes turning technical languages into messages that resonate with audiences beyond IT professionals, she said.

“By creating a compelling story, we can more effectively communicate how the company’s technology helps enterprises save on IT costs, use data more effectively, and gain a competitive edge.”

“Our challenge today is not only to raise awareness of the superior technology offered by Hitachi Data Systems, but also to turn highly-technical language into simple messages that resonate with audiences beyond IT professionals,” Catanach added.
