The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) is offering a unique and exciting opportunity for visionary creators and curators from around the world to create a revitalised version of one of the world’s most iconic light and sound spectacles — “A Symphony of Lights” (the Show).

The Show captivates audiences every night with its stunning display of lasers, multimedia effects, and a score by the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, all set against the backdrop of the city’s instantly recognisable landmarks like Victoria Harbour. Over the years, the Show creates an experience that has grown to be a major tourist attraction.

HKTB is looking for a partner who can revamp the Show and capture the vibrant energy and visual grandeur of Hong Kong. The aims are to make optimal use of the city’s harbourfront resources and offer enchanting experiences for locals and visitors alike.

Open to the world

HKTB has cast a wide net in its search for show curators and is open to accepting proposals from the most qualified and innovative firms globally, who should have a strong track record of large-scale, world-class light displays and/or multimedia shows, creative vision and technical expertise.

The revamped Show is scheduled to launch in middle of 2025 and promises to be a dazzling celebration of the best Hong Kong has to offer.

Firms interested in applying to be curators can email HKTB on an official letterhead to obtain the complete set of tender documents.
