Indonesian cement brand Indocement shortlists three agencies

JAKARTA - Indocement, Indonesia's second-largest cement brand, is believed to have shortlisted three agencies including Dwi Sapta, Fortune and incumbent Grey Advertising.

Indonesian cement brand Indocement shortlists three agencies
The three agencies were shortlisted following the first round of a pitch process that involved five agencies.

The cement company appointed Grey Advertising as its agency-of-record without a pitch in October 2008.

Indocement engages in the manufacture and sale of cement and is 65 per cent owned by HeidelbergCement. It offers products primarily under the Tiga Roda brand and competes with Semen Gresik and Holcim in the cement category.

Last year in March, Indocement's competitor Holcim, shifted its estimated US$1.5 million media planning and buying account from Initiative to ZenithOptimedia in Indonesia following a three-way battle.
