According to Angus Fraser, managing director of JWT Singapore, both have been promoted based on their stellar track records in client management and business development.

“Both Thomas and Peter are true stars – able to lead teams and educate junior staff members while managing clients and wooing prospects,” he added.

Ong is being promoted for the third time since he joined in 2006. He has 15 years' experience and has primarily focused on clients including HSBC and Epson during his time at the Singapore office.

In his new role, he will be taking on more management duties and continue to focus on new business development, especially among local clients.

In his expanded role, he will be responsible for new business development and will focus on regional opportunities while developing JWT's non-traditional capabilities and integrated campaigns.
