The appointment came after a pitch called in May, and the two-year contract was awarded in July.
Lasalle specialises in design, fashion, fine arts, media arts, dance, music, theatre, Asian art histories, art therapy, and arts management in the Southeast Asia region.
Subbaraju Alluri, chief executive officer at Grey Group Singapore, said Lasalle would reach out to passionate and engaged students who wish to pursue a career in the arts.
“This new partnership is a great opportunity to tell the world about Laselle’s place as a world-class leading art school in the region,” he added.
Barbra Gan, vice president of strategic developments at Laselle, noted that Grey’s understanding and creative approach to addressing its communications needs and to building brand awareness within the region was a crucial deciding factor in the appointment.
The institution recently signed a formal partnership with Goldsmiths, University of London.
“We are in a position to benefit from collaborative projects and share best practices including innovations in learning and teaching,” he added. “We warmly welcome the addition of Grey Group Singapore to our home team.”
