Lashou.com appoints Charm Communications for media, PR

BEIJING - Group buying website Lashou.com has partnered with Charm Communications as its public relations and media agency.

The account will be jointly serviced by Charm Communications' digital marketing agency Charm Interactive and Vizeum, a joint venture between Charm Communications and Aegis Media.

Vizeum was appointed to the account in May following a pitch in April. The appointment marked the end of Lashou.com's relationship with OMD China after only three months. At the time, an OMD spokesperson said, "There were a lot of irreconcilable differences with standard finance payments. We couldn't reach an agreement and mutually decided to sign a short-term contract running from February to May instead."

“Group-buying websites are currently one of the most popular and rapidly developing models in the industry, and Charm Communications is honored to partner with a leading brand like Lashou," said Charm Communications founder, chairman and CEO He Dang.

"A growing number of Internet brands are placing more emphasis on brand recognition, and many of them are choosing to cooperate with Charm. We hope to fully utilize our media representative agency and comprehensive service experience to help more companies achieve success,” added Dang.
